
Patricia Klobusiczky
Chair of the VdÜ
Patricia Klobusiczky (* 1968) has worked in the book industry for almost 30 years, initially as an editor at Rowohlt in Hamburg and Berlin, and since 2006 as a freelance translator for internationally known authors such as William Boyd, Lorrie Moore, Petina Gappah, Marie Darrieussecq and more modern Classics like Henri-Pierre Roché or Louise de Vilmorin. She works regularly as a lecturer, curator, moderator and author. As chairman of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works (VdÜ), she also advocates the visibility and fair remuneration of translators.
