Jobst Oetzmann

Jobst Oetzmann – born 1961 is a German director for film and television and a screenwriter. He is best known for his teleplays and the crime stories of „Tatort”, many of them were awarded. One of his most popular work is the adoption of the short stories of Ferdinand von Schirachs “Crime” in an mini-series.

Since 2005 Jobst Oetzmann is active member of the German directors guild BVR. He was member of the board of the BVR, member of the council board of the CMO VG Bild-Kunst and member of the production commission of the German film fund FFA. Since 2016 he is member of the board of the VG Bild-Kunst and since 2020 counselor of the board of the BVR.
